Your dog's comfort, safety, and health is prioritized as if they were our own. With us, your dog gets to enjoy a relaxing one on one experience in a climate controlled trailer with soothing music, gentle handling, and a cage free environment. In addition to grooming, we offer unique services such as salt water therapy, allergy treatments, obedience consultations, and 6-point health exams. Sensory Care
A welcoming, relaxed, and calming environment is a must to start things off right for you dog! Inside our trailer, we play soft classical music during your dog's entire grooming appointment. We also utilize diffusers that produce subtle pheromones that mimic the calming scents a mother dog produces for her puppies. For dogs that thrive on engagement, your dog can watch our TV that streams films of light hearted puppies, chirping birds, and mischievous squirrels.
Exposure Free
Unlike grooming salons that groom groups of dogs all at the same time, we groom one on one. This means that our undivided attention is catered specifically to you and your dog's needs for the entire appointment. A few of the incredible benefits to one on one grooming are: - Complete elimination for dog fights to occur. - Prevents the spread of harmful contagious pathogens that come from direct nose to nose contact. - A calm, safe, and quiet environment for dogs who otherwise get stressed being around other dogs or high energy environments. - Groomers who do not have to take their hands and eyes off of your dog to address other dogs that are acting up around them.
Comforts of Home
For your dog, not having to endure a car ride to a grooming salon avoids unneeded stress and motion sickness. Additionally, when your dog can see and smell the familiarity of their home right from the trailer, it helps them relax and feel safe.
Convenience
We understand life can be busy and overwhelming with work and family, leaving you with very little room to manage your dog's grooming appointments. With us, there is no need to drive back and forth to a grooming salon to drop off and pick up your dog. We come right to your house or place of employment to groom your dog. This saves you significant time, fuel, and effort. Most notably, we provide Latchkey Service, so you don't have to be home or rearrange your personal schedule to accommodate your dog's grooming appointments. We just need access (such as a door or garage code) and payment. After your dog is groomed, we'll return them where we found them and lock everything back up before we leave. - And you get to come home to a happy and clean dog after your hard day.
Cage Free
We don't subject your dog to cages or dangerous cage dryers. Instead, your dog is free to stretch out, relax, and feel comfortable inside of our trailer. We feel it's important for a dog's mental well being to not feel trapped or confined.
Minimal Time
Each mobile appointment only takes 1-3 hours. Compare that to the 6-8 stressful hours that your dog may have to endure sitting at a grooming salon. A quick grooming appointment is ideal for dogs who may have physical or emotional limitations.
Gentle Handling
Your groomer has years of extensive training and experience working with dogs. We implement positive reinforcement techniques and gentle handling for your dog. Each dog is special to us and we treat them exactly like our own.
Licensed & Insured
Von Paws is a registered business that holds a current PACFA license and carries liability insurance. We operate legally and have financial protection in the extremely rare event of an emergency.

ABOUT THE OWNER
Hi! My name is Jen. Animals have been my passion since I can remember. I was the child who brought home any creature I found (whether fury or scaley) and read every veterinary science text book I could get my hands on. Learning about and caring for animals has always been my drive in life. I grew up in the agriculture community in Eastern Colorado, spending my youth in 4-H by showing and producing livestock in conformation. In my early adulthood, I held positions in veterinary assistance, animal rescue, equestrian stables, and boarding facilities.
My many years of devotion in the industry have culminated into a well-rounded skill set for animal husbandry. In 2013, I began the journey of owning and operating my own mobile dog washing business.
Today, I live with my incredible husband and our ever expanding menagerie at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. We share our lives with 2 dogs (a great dane and a cane corso), 1 horse, 2 goats, 3 cats, 1 lizard, 1 snake, and 3 rabbits. My hobbies outside of work included riding my horse, archery, camping, hiking, reading, and creating art (I also make custom colored pencil pet portraits! Continued education matters greatly to me. In order to provide improved standards of care in this industry, I attend lectures and obtain certifications whenever possible. I am currently licensed and certified in IAOTH canine and feline psychology, AKC S.A.F.E. grooming, Pet CPR/First Aid, and Fear Free handling. I am also a supporting member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants, Groom Haüs, the American Kennel Club Canine College, and the National Dog Groomers Association of America.
